About The Green Lake Area
Our Greenlake South Shore community is only 4 miles north of downtown Seattle and is located near the shores of Green Lake. This truly is one of the
most sought after areas for living (and playing) in the entire Seattle area. People have been flocking to the Green Lake area for nearly 100 years to
enjoy this natural preserve. You will see hundreds of species of plants and trees as well as a large variety of birds and waterfowl.
There are miles of walking and exercise paths, athletic fields, tennis courts, fishing, boating, wildlife (including nesting bald eagles), crew boat
practicing, gourmet restaurants, sidewalk cafes and coffee houses all within walking distance!
The 2.8-mile path around the lake is the perfect spot for walkers, runners, bikers & roller-bladers, or just for a leisurely stroll on a warm
summer’s evening. Our location is also near the Woodland Park Zoo!
Greenlake South Shore Apartments are near I-5, Hwy 99, Wallingford, Fremont, the University of Washington, and major bus routes.
